Bio

Shea Daniels is a software engineer, people leader, and public speaker with over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. She has worked in the Fortune 250, in public service, and in startups. Shea is currently an Engineering Manager at Dwolla, a Fintech company started right here in Iowa. She was the first publicly trans employee at Dwolla and is the founder of the Transition Forward Project, an online resource designed to help organizations be more inclusive of transgender and non-binary employees. In her free time, she enjoys photography, hi-fi, cooking, crosswords with coffee, and craft cocktails.
