Minority and under-served populations are incredibly entrepreneurial, yet they are often less likely than their white counterparts to seek support from traditional startup ecosystem resources. In this breakout session, attendees will hear from three dynamic leaders who have successfully collaborated with others to build vibrant, sustainable communities that support and elevate the entrepreneurial efforts of minority and under-served groups. The session will be facilitated by keynote speaker, Lyndsae’ Peele.

Catherine Tran is a leader with a passion for community development, currently serving as the Executive Director at the Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting immigrant entrepreneurs in their business journey. She holds a managerial role at Community CPA & Associates Inc., overseeing marketing and branch operations, and supporting small businesses and budding entrepreneurs in their business journey. She is committed to empowering minority communities and fostering business growth.
